Patch Time! 🎉 Hey folks, we've got a new patch incoming! PC should now be live and PS4/XB1 are on their way! Patch notes are below! Improvements to Reconnect. Wraith Portals no longer disappear if placed in certain areas. Knockdown shields now block shots properly. Beacons now show up on both the minimap and in-world. We've improved Ring Logic. Mod Talk: We Want to Pick The Sub's Collective Brain

Good evening everyone. As per the usual, I'm writing up a post after no one has heard from me for a while. After our disastrous effort to change some of the sub's rules a few months ago, we have been kind of letting the sub go and only inserting ourselves where we really deem it necessary. As such, we want to take a different approach to any kind of change we plan for the sub. The easiest way to do that is to create a survey, have You, the community, help us determine what kind of issues need to be addressed. Now, before I go into the actual survey I want to be very clear, as of right now, we aren't proposing any changes to the rules or anything like that. However, we feel the need to reach out and ask the community their thoughts on some of them because we're seeing more reports than ever. The reports range from the scorecard rule to spam, to just toxic comments and arguments between users. Therefore, we want to see everyone's views on the current rules, good and bad. Data Analysis of Survey Results

Hello, everyone. I’m here with some analysis of the data that we’ve received. Please note that this does not mean we are making any changes, however, it is definitely something for us to consider. I will be including links for a few follow-up surveys to determine support for some commented-on points. Here are the charts that I will be referring to during this post. People are pretty ambivalent over this stuff, it seems. We don’t have a ton of responses overall, (only 285 from a subreddit of nearly 90,000) but it’s still nice to see any information we can get. Because of this, I’m going to speak mostly about the extremes on the charts, although I should note that with the exception of the “tightening the toxicity rule” chart, neutral/unsure was the most popular option, generally by a large amount. Overall, people felt that the rules were a little loose. (16.7% of responses) However, the number of people who thought they were too loose was smaller than the number of people who felt they were too strict. From what I can tell from this, including the people who were neutral, we’ve actually got a fairly well accepted set of rules… [...]
